Anuradha Jayaratne, born on December 22, 1985, is a distinguished Sri Lankan politician who recently served as State Minister of Justice, Prison affairs and Constitutional Reforms. Anuradha has dedicated himself to public service having a strong background in the field of law equipped with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Buckingham and Masters of Laws from the University of Colombo, . His journey in politics began as the Private Secretary to his father Hon. D M Jayaratne, the former Prime Minister of the Democratic socialist republic of Sri Lanka . Since then, he has held various positions, including Deputy Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment. Anuradha’s commitment to justice and equality is unwavering, making him a beacon of hope for Sri Lanka.
